The Grey Giraffe is a part of the Fifth Flight Network. This site is, put simply, a small personal journal.
The owner of this site is the narrator, me, Erica Lee, who currently attends Rhode Island School of Design (a.k.a. RISD). I plan on majoring in Illustration and work as a concept artist or whatever that may fall my way. The illustration work field is pretty broad in its own category (it isn’t simply illustrating books), it encompasses many aspects of the industrial, entertainment, and art industries. Anything that falls under the category of needing to articulate thoughts, ideas, and emotions into visual elements is basically illustration. But besides striving to be an illustrator, I also enjoy writing and thus plan to become a freelance writer.
The Grey Giraffe
The blog that was previously named Fifth Flight has just moved to this current one titled, The Grey Giraffe. There really isn’t a reason why this blog is named “grey giraffe” except I love giraffes and alliteration is a good thing. And the turtle doodle to the right is random, I like turtles too.
